If you rotate quickly around your own vertical axis, it can be an intensive experience. But if you rotate slowly, like 1 turn in 10 minutes, it would be very boring and you might focus on other things instead. Now the Earth makes a rotation in 24 hours, which is much slower, so there’s no way for you to feel it.
Our surrounding rotates with us, so we can’t even notice any changes around us.
But why can’t we feel the stationary air flowing around us? Because the air is not stationary and it is rotating with us. And our planet with its air is flowing in a vacuum, so it’s not bumbing into “outside air”. It’s also important to realize that the gravity is pulling the air to the Earth, so the air is close to Earth. The radius of earth is over 6 000 km, while the troposphere (where 80% of air is) is less than 20 km.
Also the rotation is not getting faster or slower so that we could feel some additional push at any time.
Rotation of Earth is just something that we are not expected to feel. And we don’t need to feel it. It would actually be distracting from our lives if we had to constantly feel it.
